The coastline along the southwestern side of the island. Popular for underwater production with mangrove lined beaches and dramatic bluff overlooking the ocean.

Adelaide Village Area - Settled by free slaves, this village still remains much the same as when it was originally settled. It is a popular holiday spot for Bahamians.

South Ocean Beach - A mangrove-lined beach area along the southwest shore near Adelaide Village.

Stuart's Cove - A popular dive operation near Clifton Point.

Clifton Pier and Bluff - The bluff overlooks a dramatic, dark blue ocean one side and the spectacular Southwest Bay on the other.  This is the popular underwater production site that the James Bond thrillers Thunderball and Never Say Never Again were filmed.
